Acrylic Customers now have an alternative. One of the latest fads in the nail world!
Here’s what the hype is all about.
The Dip Powder manicure process is fairly simple: After the application of the liquid base, each finger is dipped into clear, finely-milled powder, and the excess is brushed off . It is then set with a protective clear liquid. These steps are repeated with the color of your choice until the nail was fully coated and hardened. Many Salons choose to seal Dip Powder with a Gel Polish top coat and place in a UV/LED Lamp This Is Not Necessary, instead then product should be cured with a fan. The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
Both Dip Powder and Gel Polish provide an extra layer of protection to natural nails. The difference, Dip nails don’t require UV/LED light and are typically a much quicker process to apply from start to finish. Stronger than Gel Polish, easier to remove and reapply than Acrylic.
